Fresh Coconut Cake

Ingredients

12 ounces fresh coconut, divided use
1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 teaspoon coconut flavoring

Preparation

Mix cake as directed. Add 6 ounces coconut and coconut flavoring. Bake as directed on box. Remove from oven. leave remaining coconut for icing.

Topping: Combine and mix ingredients. Puncture hot cake (all over) with toothpick and pour topping over cake.

Mix remaining coconut with whipped dessert topping and top cold cake.
