Recipe Developer, Writer, Food Photographer at Mirch Masala. Mirch Masala started as just an online personal space to jot down recipes - recipes inspired from my grandmother, ones that I created on my own and my favorites from elsewhere. It soon took off to becoming a full fledged food blog, which now has more than just recipes - restaurant reviews, food events, cooking class experiences and more. It is now an expression of my love for food and cooking.

I have lived all over South India during the first 25 years of my life and now live in Seattle for the last 7 years with my wonderful husband who is the perfect partner to a foodie like me - loves to eat good food and will eat anything that is good and an almost two year old, absolutely adorable, bundle of energy, toddler boy!

We try to eat as healthy as we possibly can - buying organic, local, non processed food and cooking fresh meals at home as much as we can. We do occasionally give in to our cravings, we are human, after all!
