I am an avid recipe reader - over 35 years and counting, I usually cook without recipes, but my mind references what I have tucked away over the years.

I am also a photographer and love taking creating photographs ( of both people and desserts) for my Examiner.com page, http://www.examiner.com/x-13678-South-Bay-Dessert-Examiner , where I wax poetic about desserts, particularly in The South Bay though I do roam from time to time and give 'shout outs' to those particular places that I think are worth visiting.(like Cindy Pawlcyn's Back Street Kitchen in St Helena ~ my favorite to date).

I am always interested in hearing about new dessert recipes ~ places that make them ~ people who enjoy them ~ and most of all the cultural environment, or social setting, where they are eaten.

I love trying out new products, or 'best of' like Valrhona Chocolate, vs Belgium, etc. and include people in these taste tests so that I can take more photos!

I would love to hear from anyone who has a dessert destination, or a recipe and occasion to share with me ~ if they are interested in publishing it. Remember, it is not just a recipe ~ it's a way of life!
