I'm a vegetarian living in rural Kansas with a meat-eating hubby. A new level of hell? Possibly, but we're making it work. George is learning to eat vegetables one recipe at a time. The rule is that one must eat what is put on the table. I'm the cook, also the rule-maker, and George is a mean microwaver.

Baking is a hobby that turned into a job a few years back. I used to sign up for baking classes on the weekends with friends, but then an opportunity arose to bake for a Denver, CO, coffee shop. I leaped and found it to be more rewarding than 10 years of success in my graphic design business. Go figure.
