I am an avid cook and gardener. We grow lots of fruits on our family farm, selling strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and garden produce in our u-pick business.
As a result of the many requests for info and recipes related to using fruits, I published "Fruits of the Midwest - A Cookbook and Guide from Harvest to Table" in 2009. That was a major accomplishment for someone that is much more at home with a hoe or wooden spoon than a computer!
Besides spending many hours in my gardens and kitchen, I love family time with husband and 2 college age kids.
