Dinner, Then Dessert has developed one of the most creative ways I have ever seen a banana split served - as a burger. This one-of-a-kind recipe takes all the elements of a classic burger and transform them into something sweet. Homemade banana bread buns are filled with a refreshing strawberry "ketchup" (in other words a strawberry sauce) and sandwiched in between a chocolate dipped ice cream bar and slice of pineapple. If that combination hasn't already blown you away, the tops of the buns are glazed with a salted caramel sauce. One bite and you will be hooked on these truly amazing ice cream burgers.
