Lindsay Lohan was late to her first day of court-ordered community service at the L.A. County morgue yesterday, and to make up for the tardiness, she ordered cupcakes brought to the morgue for volunteers today. She even had her assistant head to the nearby In-N-Out to pick up lunch for the group. Unfortunately, Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner, refused the cupcake delivery. "It's unacceptable," he told TMZ. We're not here to accept food."
Lindsay Lohan's team defended her cupcake gift, saying, "It is unfortunate that Lindsay's well-intentioned actions were not taken in the spirit in which she intended: to say she was sorry for yesterday's misunderstanding." Do you think the morgue staff should have accepted the cupcakes, or were they right to turn them away?
