Preparation

Blend
2 cups sifted powdered sugar with 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon pure vanilla.
Stir
until smooth. Dip
warm
doughnuts into
glaze.
Drain on wax paper to catch
icing.
You
can
re-use what drips off.

Spicy
Glaze:
Follow above recipe, omitting vanilla. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.

Orange
Glaze:
Follow above recipe, omitting vanilla.
Substitute
orange
juice
for milk.

Lemon
Glaze:
Follow above recipe,
substituting
lemon
extract
for vanilla and using lemon
juice
instead of milk.

For Cinnamon
Flavored
Sugar
Coating:
Add 2 teaspoons cinnamon to each 1/2 cup granulated sugar for a spicy
taste
