Strawberry Banana Cream Filled Napolean

Ingredients

1 frozen puff pastry sheet (from 17 ¼ oz. pkg.)
1 (3 ½ oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 pt. strawberries
1 med. size banana

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thaw pastry sheet following package directions. Meanwhile combine vanilla pudding, milk and orange peel in medium size bowl. Beat with electric mixer 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Cover and chill. Unfold pastry sheet onto lightly floured surface. Cut in half to make 2 strips 4 1/4" wide. With fork, prick one strip several times. Place both pieces on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.

Thinly slice strawberries and banana. Place thinner piece of pastry on dessert tray. Arrange half of fruit on top. Top with pudding then remaining fruit. Gently press remaining piece of pastry on fruit. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Dust top with powdered sugar. Cut with serrated knife. Serves 6.
