It is the "International" House of Pancakes, after all. The Middle East better get ready for mammoth stacks of pancakes drenched in butter and butter pecan syrup, because a Kuwait-based franchiser plans to open 40 IHOP stores over the next year across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Oatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain and Egypt.
Democracy's got to start somewhere, right?
