Long Pepper

About
Long pepper is a close relative of Piper nigrum giving black and white pepper, and has a similar, though generally hotter, taste.
Used in vegetable pickling in India, North African spice mixes, and in South Pacific cooking. It can be found in Indian groceries, labeled as Pippali.
