Chelan Cherry

A cherry developed in Washington state and under commercial production for several years, but in limited quantities. Typically harvested 10 to 12 days before Bing cherries. The Chelan cherry is similar in size or slightly smaller than a Bing. The cherry is similar to Bing in appearance with mahogany red skin and medium to dark red flesh. The fruit is firm and flavorful.
