Kids and adults alike will love dining on these homemade mini corn dog pops. Your favorite hot dog is divided into 2 or 3 pieces (this depends on the length) and dipped into a cornmeal batter before it is fried until golden brown. Since these pops are being served on Super Bowl Sunday, I like to add a festive touch by decorating the dogs with mustard to imitate the laces on a football. To do this, place the mustard into a pastry bag with a small pastry tip and pipe a straight vertical line followed by six shorter horizontal lines. If you are serving vegetarians, you can make this same recipe with tofu dogs or cheddar cheese sticks.
