Tyler Perry had to get in action hero shape for his latest movie Alex Cross. The actor shed 30 pounds for the role, with the help of a new workout regime and diet. Perry took up cardio and weight training, as well as Israeli martial art Krav Maga to help him get in shape.
"The Krav Maga really helps to keep [the weight] off," he said. "And I'm laying off the donuts."
Perry's Alex Cross diet consisted of a lot of lean meats like grilled chicken and ground turkey.
