Rick Ross recently talked to Bon Appetit about the perks of having a personal chef and the foods he loves. The rapper admits he isn't much of a cook himself and loves all things cheese.
While Ross does have a personal chef that can make him just about anything around the clock, there is one dish the rapper says he makes quite well.
"I got one thing: I take the aluminum foil and I put a nice piece of tialpia on it, season it good, then put a bundle of broccoli and two or three slices of cheese over it. I fold it up and sit it on the grill. Voila!" he said.
Ross tends to reference food quite frequently in his songs and he admits there is a reason for it -- he didn't always have gourmet food readily available to him.
"I remember when I couldn't afford to eat like this," he said. "It was ramen noodles and the San Fransisco Treat [Rice-A-Roni]. Dessert? Get you a honey bun and put a slice of cheese on it. Put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and you had the gift of a lifetime."
