The Gummy Bear experiment has a violent result for the sugary snack. The video, which was made by teacher Andrew Walls of St. Albans School, shows the sweet bear being dropped in a tube of potassium chlorate. The potassium chlorate reacts violently to sugar when the chemical is heated.
