Scientist Gary Cass was inspired to create this red wine dress after he became fascinated with Acetobacter bacteria, which created a rubbery, skinlike layer on top of a vat of wine. Working with artist Donna Franklin, the duo molded the cellulose into body-forming material.
Interestingly enough, the dress actually resembles Lady Gaga's meat dress.
