PepsiCo's Doritos and the Lonely Island have teamed up to donate $250,000 to Berkeley Unified School District as a part of the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest. The entertainment trio has close ties to the district, as all three -- Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone -- attended school in the district. In addition, Samberg's mother is an educator.
This isn't the first time PepsiCo has donated to organizations. Previously, PepsiCo supported Matt Damon's Water.org.
