Hush puppies are a comforting Southern snack. Traditionally, a cornmeal dough is mixed with fresh scallions and cheese. Feel free to add whatever flavoring you like. For example, cheddar and ham are a classic combination or finely chopped jalapeno would be delicious. This recipe is so easy to make that you'll be frying up hush puppies for just about any occasion.
