Celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day with a Hawaiian Grilled Cheese Sandwich

April 12, 2012

Celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day with a Hawaiian Grilled Cheese Sandwich.  Sweet, salty, smoky and of course, cheesy, this sandwich has all your favorite flavors wrapped up into one.  Between two piece of multi-grain bread lie thins slices of jalapeno, pineapple and ham between cheddar cheese.  If you wanted to go the extra step, you could brush the pineapple with teriyaki sauce for an extra flavor boost.  For more recipe ideas, read my other blog post about this ultimate comfort food.
