St. Patrick's Day Cookie Kisses

March 14, 2012

These St. Patrick's Day cookie kisses from babble.com are a dessert that requires no baking.  Store bought sugar cookies (the soft ones usually found in the bakery) are mixed with green vanilla frosting.  The mixture is formed into small balls that are then shaped in dewdrops similar to Hershey Kisses.  To finish them off, each one is dipped into chocolate and once cooled, individually wrapped in foil.  With a little help from the store, you can present this festive St. Patrick's Day dessert on a moment's notice.

Ingredients:

1 (12.5 oz) container of soft sugar cookies with icing (the Lofthouse kind)
2-4 tablespoons Betty Crocker vanilla icing
green gel food coloring
1 package chocolaty Candiquik candy coating
1 package foil wrappers
