The Blake Lively Diet

November 1, 2011

Blake Lively is one gal that is serious about her fitness. When it was time for her to start training for her role in Green Lantern, her trainer Bobby Storm wanted to give her a regime that would work for her lifestyle after filming the movie.

"It involves a diet heavy on blended juices, lean proteins, healthy fats (extra virgin olive oil, almonds, and avocado), and low-GI carbs, like quinoa," Storm said.

Lively's workout routine involves a lot of toning and strength exercises. While Storm agrees that it isn't ideal for most people to workout 60 to 90 minutes a day, he advises that little changes go a long way.

"Surely most of us can find the time to drink an extra few glasses of water, do some stretches, and snack on tabbouleh salad instead of that second bowl of pasta," the celebrity trainer said.
