Top Chef season 4 winner, Stephanie Izard, has just been named as the official chef for CMT's Artist of the Year event.
Izard is going to head to Nashville to cook up a gourmet feast is honor of the top 5 country artists of the year.
"Stephanie Izard is a rock star in her own right," said Jon Hamlin, Senior Vice President of Music Events and Talent for CMT. "She's an immensely talented chef who understands the pressure of creating a unique experience for a high profile crowd. The Nashville music company is in for one incredible evening with Stephanie in the kitchen, making this event, once again, the hottest ticket in town."
This year's event will have 300 attendees of music execs and country music celebrities.
"I am very excited to be involved with CMT Artists of the Year and to have the opportunity to work with such accomplished and talented musicians," Izard said. "I cannot wait to hear who will be in attendance this year and create a menu that I feel best represents those honored. Musical performances are a lot like cooking; it is all about enticing various senses to create a unique experience for others."
The Artist of the Year event will air on CMT in December.
