Thanks to teff, the primary ingredient in Ethiopian Inerja Bread, this dessert will make pudding lovers on a gluten and dairy free diet rejoice. Still, don't be surprised if your dairy loving friends and family devour it and beg you to make more.
This guilt-free treat is perfect for when those chocolate cravings hit.
1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill Teff Flour
2 cups water
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp real vanilla extract
2-3 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar, to taste
Optional: chopped nuts or unsweetened shredded coconut
