It's understandable that you would be shocked. Ten dollars is pretty pricey for salt. But once you've tried it, you'll realize Maldon Sea Salt is worth every penny. Maybe more.
Maldon is far from the grainy white stuff poured into and out of diner salt shakers. No! Maldon salt comes in boxes that hold these dreamy little flakes that melt on your tongue. Put on top of warm freshly popped popcorn and it elevates those little kernels into a lively masterpiece. Cucumbers, green peppers, radishes have richer, juicier flavor with a little flake or two of Maldon Sea Salt.
You don't just shake the flakes onto food. You crush the flakes, see. Baked potatoes, steaks, salads, veggies--everything benefits from a little Maldon. Salty caramel? You have no idea.
The salt is made in Essex and has a proud history and a fancy site you should check out. Just don't say you weren't warned. Next time you walk by Maldon, bust out the ten bucks. You'll be glad you did.

10$ ? It's not cheap here in the UK either, but its only £3 (about 5$) here so someone's canning the hell out of the rarity value........
Good though, I don't use anything else.......
