In Seattle we put coffee in about everything short of our gas tanks (though I'm sure someone's working on that). We flavor our desserts, cookies, cakes, doughnuts with our coveted elixir. And, especially come spring, we add it to our grilling recipes. Below is one of my favorite Coffee Rubs that is stupendous on pork, beef, and chicken. Afraid you'll be up all night? Use decaf! You'll still get the full flavor of the bean.
