Dead Rat Found in Monster Energy Drink

A Seattle-area man got the shock of his lifetime upon finishing a can of Monster energy drink: a dead mouse. On March 20, Vitaliy Sulzhik bought a can of Monster from a Fred Meyer in Des Moines, Washington. As he finished the drink, the can still felt heavy. He looked inside and saw the tail, then in his words “vomited everywhere.” A laboratory in Seattle conducted tests on the can and determined the mouse had not suffered any trauma before entering the can. That means the mouse was not killed and inserted into the can post-death. Small comfort to Sulzhik. There is no word from the drink company on how the mouse could have ended up in the can.
