Picklises
Ingredients
1 can French cut green beans
1/2 head cabbage, very finely shredded
4 radishes, thinly sliced
1/2 head cauliflower florets, cut up
3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
4 carrots, scraped and thinly sliced
3 fresh hot red peppers, pricked with fork
1 onion, thinly sliced
Preparation

Prepare equal amounts of the vegetables and place in a large crock or jar.

Cover with the vinegar and let stand in a cool place for 1 week.

Store in the refrigerator.

Serve as a relish with steak or any roast meat, or with crackers and cheese as an accompaniment to drinks. (pronounced peek-LEEZ)
