Pimento Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos

Ingredients

1 tub Palmetto Cheese, Original or Jalapeno 12 oz
12 jalapenos, fresh
1 pound bacon, regular sliced not thick
toothpicks

Preparation

Soak toothpicks in water to prevent from burning on the grill

Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds. ***When working with jalapenos be sure to wash hands thoroughly before touching anything, especially your face or eyes!!!

Spoon 1 Tablespoon of Palmetto Cheese onto the jalapeno half. Wrap with 1/2 slice of bacon, be sure to completely cover the cheese. Secure the bacon with a toothpick. Continue same step with remaing peppers.

You're now ready to grill. Place bacon wrapped peppers on the grill. Avoid placing them over an area on the grill with high heat/flames to keep the bacon from burning. Cook on each side until bacon starts to crisp. Serve immediately.

These can be made ahead of time and placed in the freezer. Pull them out whenever they're needed.
