Tin Roof Dessert

Ingredients
2 rows Oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
8 ounces Cool Whip
12 ounces can Hershey's syrup
Nuts (any type), chopped
Preparation

Mix cookies and butter together. Pat into bottom of 2 (9") pans or 1 (9"x13") pan. Slice and layer ice cream on cookies. Spread Hershey syrup on ice cream. Sprinkle nuts on chocolate. Spread layer of Cool Whip. Garnish with nuts, cherries or whatever you want. Freeze at least 45 minutes before serving.
