Italian Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese cut in bits
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese -- grated
1/2 cup butter or margerine
1/2 cup milk
8 ounces Fettuccine cooked and drained
Preparation

Put water on to boil to make the pasta. Make sure to salt the water generously.
When the water is boiling, drop the fettuccine and cook until al dente.
While pasta is cooking, combine cream cheese, parmesan, butter and milk in a large saucepan, stirring constantly until smooth. Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well. Serve hot.
