Nan Khatai

Ingredients

500 grams all purpose flour
500 grams sooji/semolina
350 grams butter or ghee
2 tablespoons ilachi that is cardamon powder
200 grams sugar
1 pich of baking powder

Preparation

Pre heat the oven to 375 degree. In a bowl,mix all dry ingredients flour,ilachi,baking powder, sugar and semolina. Then allow the butter or ghee to be soft before use and rub in the flour. Line a tray , make small balls with the mixture and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool on a cooling rack. So simple recipe yet so tasty.

If you see that it uneasy to make balls with mixture add a little bit of milk to it)
