Pilaff

Ingredients

1 medium onion, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 can condensed consomme, (10 1/2 oz.)
2/3 cup water
1 cup raw regular rice
inch Saute onion butter until golden
Combine consomme and water. Bring to a boil.

Preparation

In an oiled 1 1/2 quart casserole combine all ingredients.

Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until rice feels tender and all water is absorbed.

Fluff up rice with fork.
