Honeyed Carrots

Ingredients
1 pound Carrots thinly sliced
1/4 cup Golden raisins
2 tablespoons Salted butter or margarine
3 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger
1/4 cup Sliced unpeeled almonds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cook carrots in 1/2-inch boiling water in covered medium sauce pan over medium heat 8 minutes; drain. Turn carrots into 1-quart baking dish. Stir in raisins, margarine, honey, lemon juice, ginger and Tabasco sauce. Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until carrots are glazed. Spoon into serving bowl. Sprinkle with almonds.
