Breakfast Butters

Ingredients

1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon Almond extract
1/2 teaspoon Powdered sugar
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/4 cup Honey
2 tablespoons Orange marmalade
1/2 cup Butter, softened
2 tablespoons Maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Powdered sugar

Preparation

1. For each flavor of butter, whip butter with electric mixer in a small bowl until smooth and fluffy; gradually add remaining ingredients.

2. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Notes: These are especially great for those who like to keep refined sugar to a minimum. Just use naturally sweetened, no sugar added preserves, omit the sugar and use honey and then use them on French Toast or Pancakes, waffles, of even toast ! Very good.
