Creamy Orzo with Greens
Ingredients
½ TBSP Unsalted Butter
1 cup orzo
1 TBSP Pepper
1 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 TBSP Chili Powder
1 cup low fat milk (1%)
1½ cup low sodium chicken broth
½ cup greens
Preparation

in a small saucepan over medium high heat, add butter. Once melted and spices and orzo. Stir until evenly combined and let orzo toast slightly, for about 2 minutes.

Add milk and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir and reduce to medium and simmer until orzo is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 15 min.

Remove from heat and let sit for 2 minutes until all liquid is absorbed.
