Chicken Chakhokhbili

Ingredients

1 kg chicken or pheasant сut into medium-size pieces
4 mediums onions, sliced
4 medium-size tomatoes, chopped or 50 gr. Pomi tomat
1 teaspoon ajika or paprika or red peper
1 teaspoon salt
1 coriander, blue basil and 1 tablespoon garlic, mashed

Preparation

Fry it in sunflower oil together with 4 medium sliced onions until it become translucent and chicken change colour - about ten min on medium heat

Add tomatoes, black pepper and ajika. Cover and simmer for 20-30 min

Add butter, stir and leave on low heat 3-5 min more

Remove from the heat and immediately add diced coriandr, blue basil and parsley with 1 tbs finely chopped or mashed garlic

Mix and leave for 5-10 min
