Open Faced Steak Sandwiches With Fried Egg

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
1 big onions, sliced thin
1 pound steak-umm, grilled flank steak or other thinly sliced 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
4 eggs
4 slices Italian or French bread

Preparation

Heat butter in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Add onions and red bell pepper and saute until softened and starting to turn golden brown around the edges.

Add thinly sliced meat to pan and cook just until heated through. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.

Remove all ingredients from pan and set aside and keep warm.

Sprinkle bread with salt and pepper and toast on each side in same pan you cooked the steak. Remove toasts from pan to individual plates.

Divide steak and place on top of each toast. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the pan, and cook each egg individually.

Place an egg on top of each sandwich. Drizzle with olive oil and serve warm.
