Chili Beans & Turkey Sausage

Ingredients
1 length turkey sausage precooked (sliced approx. 1 c.)
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (Safflower)
2 cups water (16 oz.)
Long grained rice, cooked (approx. 4 servings)
Preparation

Combine oil, turkey sausage and onions in large saucepan.

Saute over medium heat until the onions are clear.

Add can of chili hot beans plus 1 can of water (16 oz).
If doubling recipe add only 3 cups of water.

Let simmer for approximately 20 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the rice according to the directions on the package.

Serve with a side dish of sliced tomatoes and cucumber salad with crackers.
