Atole De Champurrado

Ingredients

1 kilogram of corn dough
3 slabs of chocolate (Mexican, like)
1/2 kilogram brown sugar (panela)

Preparation

In a clay pot, boil a pint of water, add the cinnamon sticks. Dissolve the "corn masa" (dough) in another pot with water

When the 1st water is boiling add the chocolate bars along with the dissolved masa.

Then add the brown sugar ( or "panela", cut into small pieces) , stirring constantly to prevent burning or sticking.
