Sweet and Sour Hot Peppers

Ingredients

1/2 bushel sweet and hot pepper, sliced and seeded
1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons mustard seeds
32 ounces ketchup

Preparation

Place sliced and seeded peppers in a large turkey roaster.

Mix other ingredients until dissolved.

Pour over the peppers and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

Remove from heat and bottle immediately in hot, sterilized jars and lids. Seal.
