In a bowl combine the butter and sugar.

Add flour, eggs, coarsely crumbled macaroons (amaretti) and chocolate into pieces not too small.

Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar..

About
This cake is great as I have described, but lends itself very well to be cut into layers and filled with cream, chocolate sauce, Chantilly cream, etc..
For this I recommend to add the ingredients listed, a packet of baking powder.
