Mormon Punch

Any flavor Jello (3 oz.) package. Mix according to directions on package. Boil until clear 1 cup sugar, 3 cups water and add to Jello. Now add: 1/2 c. lemon juice

Pour into 1/2 gallon containers and freeze. (Clean milk cartons work well). 1 to 1 1/2 hours before serving, thaw and smash in punch bowl. Add 2 quarts 7 Up and sherbet or fresh fruit, or both.
