Apple and Yogurt Combo
Ingredients
1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of full fat yoghurt
Preparation

1. In a small saucepan, bring the apple and water to the boil and leave to simmer with the lid on for 10 minutes until the apple is very soft.

2. Puree the apple and juices using stick blender and leave to cool.

3. In a bowl, combine the pureed apple with the yoghurt and serve.

About
Introduce apple as a first food when your baby is about 6 months old. Apples are nutrient-rich and easy to digest; they are also very versatile, so can be included in many of baby’s meals. Frozen apple in a mesh bag given to baby to suck on makes an excellent teething reliever. -
