Creole Gumbo
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 lbs. fresh shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1 7 ½ oz. can crab meat, drained and cartilage removed
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 16 oz. can tomatoes cut up
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
