Ingredients
1 cup
shortening
1 cup
sugar
1 cup light
molasses
1 tablespoon
vinegar
2
eggs
, beaten
6 cups
flour
1 teaspoon
baking soda
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1 teaspoon
ginger
1/2 teaspoon
salt
Preparation
1
Bring shortening, sugar, molasses, and vinegar to a
boil.
Cool.
Add eggs and
dry
ingredients.
Chill.
Roll
out to 1/4 inch,
cut
and place on greased cookie sheet.
bake
at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Do not over
bake
.
