Trifle In A Jiffy

Ingredients

a packet of Cottee's cold jelly- as per packet instruction
strawberries- washed and hulled
3 tablespoons of custard powder
500 milliliters milk
2 tablespoons of sugar (add more if you want to have the sweet custard)
300 milliliters cream
2 tablespoons of caster sugar

Preparation

Mix jelly as per packet instruction

Place cut up fruits in a glass and pour the jelly

For the custard layer~Mix custard powder with 1/4 of milk and stir into a smooth mixture...

Pour the remainder of the milk into a saucepan, follow by the custard mix. Place on the stove on low heat...

Keep on whisking to avoid having a lumpy custard.

Custard will slowly thickened...

Spoon the custard onto the jelly layer and back into the refrigerator

For the cream layer ~using electric beater, beat the cream and sugar until peak
.
