Baked Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1/4 cup celery, finely diced
2 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sage
1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup water
Preparation

Slit a pocket along the bone side of each chop. Prepare the stuffing by browning the onion and celery in a little fat, then combining with crumbs, salt and pepper, sage and poultry seasoning and water. Stuff each chop with 1/4 of the mixture. Skewer edges together with toothpicks; season chops with salt and pepper. Place in baking pan. Cover and bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for one hour. Remove cover and continue
