Pancake Faces

Ingredients

125 grams Self-raising flour, (4oz)
40 grams Caster sugar, (1 ½oz)
1 medium Size egg, beaten
150 mls Milk, (¼pt)
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Chocolate spread
Selection of favourite sweets eg., mini marshmallows, smarties, flake,

Preparation

Mix the flour and sugar. Make a well in the centre and stir in the egg and milk.

Lightly grease a non-stick frying pan and place the pan over a moderate heat.

Drop the mixture in large spoonfuls onto the hot frying pan.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, until bubbles rise to the surface of the pancake, then turn over and cook for a further 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Allow the pancakes to cool slightly, then spread with the chocolate spread.

Use the sweets to make happy faces.
