Cream Caramels

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
cup butter
2 cups cream -- 20%% butter fat

Preparation

Sprinkle nuts in greased 8" square pan.

Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter and half of the cream in saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in rest of cream gradually. Continue stirring as mixture thickens and cook to 2500F. Remove from heat and pour over nuts in pan. When cold, cut in squares.
